3 years after the initial feature request finally it seems there is a working FileVault2 support on mainline Clover (no without minor inconveniences).
Great milestone!

For those unaware, FileVault is the Full Disk Encryption technology employed by macOS. Until this day, turning on FileVault on a hackintosh resulted in an unbootable drive.

A piece of caution here: I haven't tested the feature myself. I prefer to give it some more time to mature.
