EncFS under Mac OSX 10.10 Yosemite

This method relies on EncFS binaries compiled under Mavericks (old binaries) under OSX 10.10 Yosemite (provided below). Backup your EncFS data prior testing.

Requirements:

Run in terminal:


cd /usr/local/Cellar
curl -O https://imojito.com/subido/encfs-1-7-5_1.zip
unzip encfs-1-7-5_1.zip
chown -R yourusername:admin encfs/
brew link encfs
brew install rlog boost gettext openssl
Now you should be able to run encfs in command line as usual.
Test with
encfs -v
